This is one of my favorite photo in Florence, Italy. I saw this priest walking beside the Duomo. I was drawn to his cassock and hat since I rarely see priests here in the US wear those things anymore.
This next photo was of my family walking inside the Doge's Palace grounds in Venice, Italy. If you go, I suggest taking the tour inside the palace, it's well worth it. They also offer the Doge's Secret Itinerary tour and I heard it is very interesting. We didn't take that because we had the kids with us. Go in the afternoon when there are no lines.

Very interesting! The only place I see priests with cassocks is at monasteries run by immigrants.

i really thought that the first pic was a painting..ang galing:) I would love to get to Italy someday. One of the places I wanted to go for the longest time.
